We met over a few bevvies (quite a few in fact) at a local watering hole in 2020, both healing from previous marriages, but grateful for the wonderful sons those earlier chapters gave us. It wasn't long before we decided to give it a second go. The beginning saw many tears from the hurt that we had both brought with us, but this similarity and strength in each other is what gave us such a strong bond. Many dates, walks, meals, cinema trips and frequent visits to Weston Super Mare brought us ever closer together. It was in Weston, after quite a few more bevvies (Simon & Ashley's fault this time), on Sept 1st 2024, that Clare said "Yes"... and what's more, she still said yes after sobering up 🤣.
So thank you for your ongoing support, we're so excited and looking forward to dancing the night away with you all.
We would love you to join us for the ceremony at Gloucester Registry Office for 12 Midday.
There may be some family photographs outside or nearby afterwards (we'll grab some of you for that), but it would be great if the majority could make their way to the reception venue for a 1.30pm start where we will enjoy a meal, drinks and speeches.
From 3.30pm onwards, evening guests will arrive.
Please arrive from 3.30pm onwards... Don't feel that you have to be here at this time, just join us when you can!
This is an open air garden party, so to be respectful to our neighbours, we will finish at 10pm.
Gathan Cheema, from Bransford, Worcester, appeared on the X Factor in 2012, and also Olly Murs' Starstruck on ITV. Gathan does allsorts of music you would'nt expect, like Whitney Houston, Jennifer Hudson & Ed Sheeran.
Joe Whelan (born 1986 in Wolverhampton, England) is a rock singer and musician, playing guitar, Bass (instrument), keyboards and drums. He began playing live at the age of 12 years. In 2012, Joe appeared on The X Factor singing "Whole Lotta Love".
Birmingham-born DJ Waansin comes from a family of DJs and sound‑men, so music is in his blood. His versatile sets blend Motown, R&B, Chart hits, Drum & Bass, Dancehall, and Reggae with style.

Please use the Doctors Car Park (as closed on a Saturday) or Car Park behind the library. If Needed, further paid parking would be available at the lake car park. This is free for first hour then up to £4 for all day, but is free from 6pm (see map).
Holts Chapel is located along the driveway behind Holts Terrace, first on the right after turning into Holts Road from Watery Lane (see map).
